Instrument details: Matt plays on a Tama Drum set and a cowbell!
Some history on Matt: It was August of 2002 when Marco & Will heard the beating
of the drums coming from an unknown source when they discovered it was none
other than Matt Burdick swinging to the beat of "Jumpin' Jack," a song by fellow
band: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. It was then that the three became the Original and
founding members of what was to be Phat Cat Swinger.
Matt went to Fontana High School, where he first had the chance to take some
crazy drum solos on songs such as "Sing, Sing, Sing." He enjoys Classic Rock but
also pulls influence from other drummers he has heard in his life within swing
music. He also learned quite a bit about drumming when he was in Marching band
at Fo High.
His favorite memory with Phat Cat Swinger was when the band got to perform at
