Some history on Marco: He first started playing music at the age of 4 and as years
went by he went from playing the keyboard to the guitar, and then finally it was in
the 5th grade that a beautiful girl inspired him to play the sax. Over the years
Marco went on to learn up to 16 different instruments. When PCS started, he
began writing music and arranged nearly all the tunes you hear the band play
today.
If you browse through Marco's ipod you would find artists ranging from Coldplay,
Nat King Cole, Timbaland, Trio Los Panchos, Lenny Kravitz, Wynone Harris and so
many more... His influences include the music, showmanship & playing of Sam
Butera, Louis Jordan, Jimmy Dorsey, Parker, Cannonball, Coltrane, Rollins, Bobby
Darin, Louis Prima, Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa, Lionel Hampton and more...
In 7 years Marco has made so many great memories that it would be hard to
narrow it to just one. But he did say that playing the Playboy Mansion, The House
of Blues in Anaheim & San Diego as well as the bands first "Swing or Die" tour are
among his favorite memories with Phat Cat Swinger.
