uses a Gallien-Kruger Amp and her favorite Fender "California" red cable.
Some history on Laura:
Laura joined Phat Cat Swinger in the Fall of 2006 and has since brought a new
sound to the band. You've heard her sing songs for you like Mr. Zoot Suit & Come
On-a My House, which is probably quite a change from singing once in Choir when
she was in the 3rd grade. Her first instrument was the Viola, which she played in
the 6th grade.
If you were to browse through Laura's collection of music, you'd probably find a lot
of Heavy Metal and learn that she's influenced by players from groups such as
Kittie or Slayer... But also other players like Mark Winchester, Kim Nekroman, and
even models such as Bettie Page. Outside of music Laura enjoys Drawing &
spending time training her dog, checking out bands and playing video games.
One of her favorite past times with the band members is making them laugh with
jokes about natural bodily functions. Aside that her favorite memory with PCS is
first learning how to "slap" the upright bass. Since then it's become a normal part
